fake security cameras are sensible additions that can be found in most homes today. It is very important to install various home security gadgets to make your house secure. They not only offer protection, but also peace of mind. This article will cover some must-have gadgets that every home owner should install to maximize their home's security. 1. Fake or Dummy Security Cameras Not only are these cameras much cheaper than the real thing, but they do well at deterring potential burglars once they are installed. Burglars will have a hard time trying to figure out whether they are fake or real. That level of uncertainty will cause thieves to think twice before trying to take a chance. Fake or Dummy Security Cameras are equipped with a small battery that operates a flashing light. This indicates that the camera is armed. They are easy to install as there is no need to wire them into the mains. Outdoor Security Camera These outdoor security cameras are your eyes as they monitor what takes place on the outside your home. Many 0utdoor security cameras are equipped with night vision capabilities. This allows the homeowner to still be able to gain a clear vision even if it is dark outside. They make it easy to keep tabs on the safety of your home, and are very affordable cctv products. 2. The Wireless Driveway Alert System The Wireless Driveway Alert System is a fantastic security gadget for homeowners who want to monitor their driveway. This system is equipped with infrared technology, and is especially suitable for driveways that are longer than the average. It comfortably covers a distance of up to 400 feet. The wireless driveway alert system will allow the homeowners to know when anyone enters their driveway whether in a vehicle or on foot. 3. Flood Lights or Motion detectors Flood Lights or Motion detectors play a dual role as both a lighting and security system. They are used for lighting up dark areas and make it easier to move safely from one area to the next. As far as security goes, the system scares away unscrupulous individuals. They are affordable, available in several sizes and may be solar powered. 4. Door and window alarms Affordable and easy to use, these security systems operate with the use of a sensor that alarms if the designated door or window is opened. The system can be installed at all vulnerable areas within the home. Place them on exterior doors and all windows of the house wireless cameras. 5. Emergency Alert Dialer Landlines have basically taken a backseat to give way to the now prominent cell phone age. With fewer people using or even owning a land line, and no present method for Emergency response teams to locate someone in distress though their cell phones, there is the need for a solution. The Emergency Alert Dialer has been identified as that solution. It is suitable for both security and medical emergencies. The system operates with a panic button that the victim will press when in distress. Once the victim press the panic button, the phone will begin to dial the designated list of contacts then play the recorded message. |

Review by leo for Rating: well, this is a really deenct and realable system u can find by spending less than $300, it has really good features inside; u can set the quality of recordin between normal-high-highest, set the sensitivity, draw ur motion detection area ..what i like in this system beside the price is ** u can set the fps rate between the four cameras , that means u can give low fps for the low important camera. ** the quaility of the pic is very awesome, the object should be around 3-5 feets to catch the face. ** night time quality is amazin too. ** the 500G capacity drive make it simple to catch ur videos without formatin the HD, in my case i done the re-write option when the HD is full and it gave me 15 days of continuous recordin.** searchin option is good and simple.** the dve itself is tiny and u can place it anywhere , no one will notice that this thing is recordin.** they give u a full package u dont need to buy anythin from the market .. except some of tie up, and wood self-scerws to route ur cables.** it has somethin called smart reocrding' if an object is inside the camera range and outside the motion detection area , it will start recording in 3fps, this will give u a hint on how the recordin started..things i didnt like :- this dvr doesnt have a switch on button weird .- even if u put the sensitivity on low , it will keep recordin moving leaves, small dogs or even jumpin birds in ur yard .. even if a light reflects on ur car it will catch that and record it ..-those r a CCD cameras with a backlight compensation the picture is good but still the colours vary dependin on the sun reflection .' got the sharp ccd , i recommend the sony ccd cameras .- the brackets r really made from a cheap material , it wont tighten enough sometimes u can see the camera viewing area has a slight different..- if u move the dvr while its workin, u can loose the pictures, gettem back by unplug and replug the power and signal wires ..- the only way to back ur files is using a flash drive, and u cant select files and delete them, if u want to delete somethin u must fromat the HD thats the only way.overall its a very good systme ,ive been searchin for 2 months to get somehtin within the budget. every mornin i wake up and start watchin what happened during the night time around my house never lost a pic or have no recording ..its my toy now ,just go for shoppin then come back to see who knocked on ur door while u were not there..my bottom line is GOOD PIC GOOD PRICE ..GET IT. |

RealTime Vehicle Tracking – Historic Reporting. Staying competitive, productive and cost-efficient in today’s fleet management and operating environment means every second counts! Consequently, GPS vehicle tracking has proven to be a vital tool in the daily pressure to meet a full job sheet of delivery schedule slots. The essential application is realtime vehicle tracking, which keeps fleet operation centres constantly in touch with the location and schedules of their drivers and vehicles. The ability to have as much information as possible at your command about road conditions, vehicle availability, delivery changes, fuel use, running efficiency and driver handling means getting those important split second decisions right everytime. Some of the first fleet tracking systems could only report their information when the fleet GPS tracking device was returned to base, which in today’s challenging economic climate, would put a company at a serious cost and operating disadvantage. Real time information is reported back to a company’s central computer system in optional, pre-set intervals, from between every 10 seconds to every 60 seconds, according to the customised commercial vehicle tracking system and the supplier. However, still a critical part of any modern vehicle tracking solution is historic reporting. This vital tool provides a complete detailed report on a company’s entire fleet journey history, from which a full report on any fleet vehicle on any specific day can be selected for inspection. The data is displayed as a ‘snail trail’, continually plotted on a map within the vehicle tracking web application. The snail trail clearly shows an entire vehicle journey and behaviour history, marking, amongst other useful driving characteristics, excessive idling points and exceeded speed limits. The ability to record and keep a complete breakdown analysis of an entire vehicle journey history and behaviour in realtime is, of course, invaluable as incontrovertible evidence, if and when required. There are always likely to be situations where contentious issues will arise involving speeding tickets, driver/staff whereabouts, unauthorised vehicle usage and insurance claim backup. Snail trail recording are standard vehicle tracker applications available for both realtime and historic reporting, and must now be considered an essential fleet management tool, supplying essential information no modern transportation organisation can be without to provide the required standard of customer service. |

The Importance of Date and Time stamps for Surveillance I have often been asked by commercial customers if our DVRs have the feature of time and date stamps on recorded footage and if we program that on our end. The answer is yes, however, the due diligence should not stop there. The reason that this is so important to commercial and residential customers is evidentiary proof. I had a commercial client recently inform me of a recent incident which prompted him to call in and get a new surveillance system. The customer’s store was vandalized and though there was some visual footage that showed the culprit committing the crime, there was no date and time stamp on the recorded footage which rendered the surveillance footage as invalid evidence. It is important to make sure that the time and date function of the DVR is programmed properly and that from time to time, the end user checks that information in playback to ensure that the proper information is being displayed. An additional thing to consider is if there are POS, access control, or alarm systems integrated with the onsite surveillance system. It is important that the time and date stamps are synchronized with the surveillance system because many jurisdictions will require time and date evidence from other supplementary equipment within the home or business. It is important that all sources that can produce identical time and date stamps thus validating the evidence. If there is a wall clock or desk clock that is within view of a camera and that footage will need to be used in a court of law for evidence, it is imperative that the clock is displaying the same time (within a minute or so) as to what is displayed on the time stamp of the video footage. There have been numerous instances where a few minutes discrepancy has caused video footage to be ruled invalid and thrown out as evidentiary proof. It is recommended to choose a DVR that has a function where the end user can preset the Daylight savings feature so that when the hour rolls forward or falls back, the system automatically makes that change |
